Blobby week...

This has just not been a good week. I feel like there is something
going kapooey in the universe. Seems like all I am hearing is bad
news from people I love. There is nothing I can do for them either.
Besides this the UPS man is making my life miserable. He thinks it
is funny. I have had 8-10 boxes delivered to the store EVERY day.
"Oh how cool would THAT be you say?" It isn't. It means that it
all has to be tagged and put away. Not only THAT but it is
Spring/Summer Yarn. Not even my much loved Winter Yarn.

Quitters Remorse

I started this sweater around a year ago. I put it down about 9 months ago. The pattern is "Innishmore" by Alice Starmore. I told myself that if I didn't finish it that it was nobodys business. I told myself that I just didn't want to do that last sleeve. Well, now I am feeling guilty. I am getting near the end of what I am working on now and I am having second thoughts. Maybe I will go and finish that second sleeve.

Heading for the Hebrides

I have been doing everything in my power to find excuses not to be
knitting on "Aberlady". It is my day off and I love knitting. I have been doing
laundry and cleaning the house instead. I have been reading blogs and email.

The above is my next project. It is called "Hebrides Pullover" and the yarn is "Mainly Merino" worsted weight, I am making myself finish what I am working on (and the dress at the shop) before I move on. I can do this!

I was bored

I couldn't stand looking at my current knitting projects anymore so I did some "Sybil Knitting" (customer came up with that one). This is from the new Vogue Knitting. It is the leaf scarf. I am using Madil "Kid Seta" and Lana Grossa "Cool Wool".

Cheap Shot!

I know this is a cheap shot. I know it. I couldn't help myself though. Lily is my 185lb Saint Bernard. I love her. I could have taken a picture of my cats but A)I don't love them as much and B)They wouldn't wear a sign that says "I Love Yarn!"
Ok, I won't do this again.

Aberlady is almost done!

Honey, You Need a Sweater

Here is the new mannequin. I just bought her for the shop. I plan
on using her to show off "Butterfly". The only problem is that the
bitch gives me a complex because she is so tall and thin.
The mailman has a thing for her. I can tell.
He stops in front of her every time he comes
to deliver mail. He makes rude comments. I even have clothes on her now but
it doesn't stop him.

Well, I think that I am just posting to myself for now.

I worked on Rowan's "Butterfly". I am almost done. I can't wait to be done. I will put up photo as soon as I can. I am also making progress on the Starmore "Aberlady". Only 1.5 sleeves left to do.

Giving this a try

I am going to give this a try. I swore that I wouldn't have a blog, but I reconsidered. I will put up pictures of knitting stuff that are in progress and that I have finished.
