I am so ashamed

Hellllloooo out there. I know that all of you left because it has been eons since I have posted. I don't blame you. I just dropped by to apologize and to tell maybe that one person (hi mom) that still reads this that things have been really hard around here. I know that you don't want to hear stupid excuses but um....I am sorry. Mr Yarn has lost his job and now will be home looking for one. We may have to move out of the Bay area. Annie got sick and had a weird thyroid thingy. Uh, *I* was sick for weeks.

I have been knitting. Shut up, I am not lying. I have all of the back and most of the front of the Bodega Bay sweater done. I went to a knitting retreat up in Ben Lomand (ok, so I didn't tell you about it and I slipped away for a couple of days to knit). I am knitting a Habu Stainless Steel shawl.

That is about it. I got a new digital camera and I have to learn how to use it. Till the next time....I really still love all of you and I am sorry that I have been a slackard.

Yikes! I hope everyone is on the mend. We had a January like that last year...lost job, flu, extended family crises. I hope never to repeat it!

Do take pix! 'Cause really, we're just here for the knitting!

Oh No!

The kids all want to visit -- let me know if you have a good day next week. Then you can tell me all about it. Thing 3 would probably like to help me make scones to take to you. He's getting good at them.

OMG - you're back! Seriously, I did check in every few days just to see if you were knitting and to look for pix of Lily. So sorry to hear about DH's job - may he find the perfect one soon! Maybe he could be your partner in the professional kitchen thingy. Miss you - and hope to see more blogging soon.

I'm still here! (waving paws madly in the air and jumping up and down). I hope the year improves for you. I'll keep checking.

Still here, still here! Bugger about the rough patch. Will think good thoughts for you. Think of you quite often-at least everytime I drive past where the shop was, which is nearly everyday since I LIVE on that street :) btw, with Yarn! you set the standard for LYS, especially for my offspring. Recent conversation: "hey Beck, wanna go to ****?" "No." "Why not?" "I don't like it there." "Why not? What's wrong with it?" "It's not like Yarn!" No arguing with that!

You just write whenever you feel like it and we'll keep checking and reading when you do!

Oh, crap! What awful news. I hope Mr. Yarn find a local job soon. Take care.

Well, I'm still reading (and I'm not the only one), and I'm not here for the knit nor am I your mom!
I was just thinking about you the other day, wondering when your dust would settle so we could do dinner...and now, dang! I'm worried about your news and a possible move and how it all effects your immediate hopes and dreams.
On the other hand, this news sounds SO completely "big" given all the other changes, that one almost has to wonder if you aren't being pointed in the direction of something very very good.

welcome back! I missed you! I never gave up hope though. I knew you'd be back! Sorry to hear about all the crap going on, but I hope that you'll resolve it all soon.

I still love you even if you went away for a while.

I know the feeling! My computer time has been about zero lately. My poor blog. I've been updating it the past week or two, even lots of pictures of the boys in one of them.
