Bad picture but...
Not a great picture. This is the fichu that I knit for Annie. It is from the Victorian Lace book (XRX). It was a fun knit. It was a pain to block out and I still need to steam the collar. I am knitting though. I am sewing together the Granny Smith sweater and I am working on another shawl from Victorian Lace today. Pictures to follow as they are finished.
No news yet on Mr. Yarns job hunt. He has an interview in Atlanta tomorrow and he had a phone interview with a place in Scotland. The adventure has just begun.

Ho. Le. Cow. That is awesome! I can't wait to see Annie in at the wedding!
It is beautiful! Can't wait to see Annie wearing it.
Wow.
I noticed that you are starting on a Bohus sweater Forest Darkness. Did you order it from the museum in Europe or somewhere here in the U.S.? I am dying to knit one myself. Please please keep us updated and let me know where you got the pattern and yarn.
Will that be the Something New? It's just lovely. What a lucky daughter.
Scotland? Wowee. Adventure, indeed! Will you open your home to traveling knitters? :-)
Laurine,
I did buy the kit from the dyer of the yarn. Her stuff is far superior to the stuff here. It is the same stuff that is sold through the museum. Her name is Soveig Gustafsson. I will show pictures when I am done with it.
Suzee! You can visit no matter where we end up :-)
Can I have my own room when you move to Scotland and can we go and stalk Alice Starmore?
Laurine, the kits can be ordered directly from Solveig by emailing her at solveig at solsilke dot se. Crazily enough, even with shipping, the lovely original kits from Solveig are quite a bit cheaper than the US version.
I think everybody should be knitting Bohus.
janis, the lace is gorgeous!
i was just looking at granny smith the other day, but started a print o' the wave instead.
good luck to mr. yarn, scotland, fun!
I love this piece. Annie needs a little nosegay of lilies-of-the-valley and dancing slippers to match.
