Meet Ricky!

Ricky

This is Ricky. He is our Granddog. We are babysitting while Annie and Tim are on their Honeymoon in Brazil. I think that someone may not be as happy about that as we are

Lily

So...on the moving to another country front... We aren't going to Scotland. The nice people who told Mr. Yarn that he all but had the job and to send his formal application (Fedex'd it no less) never emailed or called or anything. When Mr. Yarn emailed them to see if they got the application came back with an email that they were done with interviewing and they were sorry to inform him but...yadda yadda yadda.

This sucks. So new places to wonder about is an interview he has in San Diego (bleck, I am not a big fan of SD) or an answer to see if he is going to go interview in a place in Lexington, Mass. (he had a 2 hour phone interview yesterday).

This more than sucks...

Poor Lily-bean. I'll give her an extra cookie next time I see her to make up for having to share space with the adorable yarn-eating grandog.

The think the Scotland people were beyond rude but I am so glad you're not leaving!

P.S. Who is Frank and why does he want photos of your computer desk?

I agree. Poor Lily. What do the cats think about Ricky, who, by the way, is also adorable? Will you be posting any pictures at all of the wedding? I've been checking your blog and am hoping to see some.

Oh, Mrs Yarn, I am so sorry to hear the news from Scotland. We would have had fun. I hope you will soon find, as so often in life, that another door opens just as one closes.

Okay, so I've clearly fallen off the edge of the earth (although I almost got another bee swarm from your neighbors). Glad you're not moving; sorry the Scots were so dour but I'm glad you're not gone yet.

Your knits are lovely -- I assume the wedding was fun?
