I am now seeing the priate more than ever but the shawl is pretty. So I am very conflicted. No way I am not going to finish it but I will have to give it to one of my piratey friends. I can knit an eyepatch to go along with it for that "special birthday gift".

Couldn't you just wear a knitted eyepatch and go "arrrrr" while you're knitting something else?
Heeheehee. I just got back from Walgreen's, where, among other things, I bought grandson Chase a new T-shirt. It is black with white lettering that says:
Pirates arrrgh Cool !!
Linda, Happy Birthday and the I wish the t-shirt came in my size because I would buy one!
Stef, I have a pattern for a lace bee shawl that makes me keep thinking about you and your honey (the best stuff *I* have ever tasted)
