Tangled Yoke is done!
I finished something! This one only took a couple of weeks. I love this sweater and was motivated to get it done because I actually want to wear it. I don't wear most of what I knit but this one is going to be on the "favorite comfortable sweater" list. I had a hard time getting good detail shots of the sweater but use your imaginations.
I started another sweater that I really wanted in my winter closet collection. I think it will get lots of use this winter as well.
I bought the kit at Stitches last year. It is Reynolds Whiskey: A Vintage Collection. It is a fast knit and I should have it done in the next couple of weeks.
So, Mr. Yarn didn't get the job in Alameda and we are thinking that we are really going to have to move. Who knows where...

You can come and live with us.
I love your new sweater. That had to be a personal best for speed, right? It's going to look fantastic on you.
I was just thinking to myself, "Wow, what an odd year these guys have had financially/professionally." Then it sorta struck me as funny that your sweater is a "Tangled Yoke." A lovely one, at that. But I still find ironic humor in it ;-)
I have heard that knitting a Reynold's Whiskey brings
good luck to the knitter's spouse. Thank heavens you're married or all that luck would go ungrounded!
To activate the Whiskey charm just repeat the word "employed" with every even row and "gainfully" with
every odd.
What a gorgeous sweater. Love it!
Just breathtaking!
I did 8 months of no fun unemployment in 2005/06. No fun at all, I feel for you both. Something will work out, it really will.
