I tell ya, this is no magic flute. It is more like the magic pipe. You knit and knit and knit your tush off and it stays in the same place. I don't get it. I feel like I have been so good about not dumping this piece of ... cloth for a more fun project. I will finish this because I am stubborn. Doesn't mean I have to be friends with it...

are you kidding? that's some serious progress - since you started that (and finished a couple of things in the mean time) I've made four gauge swatches, half an inch of a sock and blocked a sweater. I'm not exactly a speedy knitter - your stuff blows me away!
OMG, it is so beautiful. You must finish this sweater. This is not some piece of lace my friend!
It may not go quickly, but it may be one of the most beautiful pieces of knitted cloth I've ever seen.

I promise that it grows - but it does work better if it's all you knit. I know - I finished the body! Of course there's some other stuff I have to do before I get to the sleeves, but it's just a LONG sweater.
