Sometimes you just have to move on
No more. I can't do this piece of lace anymore. As a matter of fact I can't do the Zauberflote anymore (right now but I will get back to it one day). So I have moved on. I am starting something that inspires me and makes me want to knit again. It is called "Big Collar" and is from the Bohus Museum.
It is going to get to a spot that is miles of stockinette on size 1 needles and black. I am sure that the infatuation will wear thin. The only difference is I WANT this sweater.
I swear that I will get back to Zauberflote...I swear.

Oh I like the new project very much, sometimes you just have to put something down in order to complete it, ever.
Love the new sweater, can't wait to see it.
Ooh, Bohus! Yum, yum, yum. That is such a great sweater! What yarn are you using for it? I know you've wanted that sweater for a long time, even with the miles of tiny black stockinette.
OOOOhhhhh pretty. Love that sweater. At least it looks like it's knitting in the round for the black stockinette - you won't even have to look at it.
I so love that it will be so beautiful, you will just want to finish it so that you can wear it. Am I the only weirdo, but I do actually enjoy rows of mindless stocking stitch especially in the round. I can knit and talk and watch TV, I love it.
One of my fellow S'n'B knitters has just finished a project she started 9 years ago, so I don't think you need worry!!!
And that sweater will look great on you!
