The time has come

Time to wrap

It is time to wrap gifts. Have I ever told you how much I hate wrapping gifts? I stink at it. Well, there is no more time to put it off because this is the only chance I have with no one around to do it.

On another grumpy note

more slippers

If I never make another pair of these slippers it will be fine with me. I only have one more pair to go.

So how are all of you staying so calm?

Who in the hell is calm? Not me! However, I do have my Mother, the wRapper, to wrap all my gifts. Just rubbin it in!

Janis, none of us are calm, of that you may be sure.

Oh good. I thought that I didn't have the holiday thing down. As long as I am following the program of being a nervous wreck.

You guys look calm.

Lori, will my new MOM wrap my gifts?

Liquid "sedatives", such as one can find in any supermarket liquor department make the panic and grumpiness fade, at least for a little while...

Low expectations for gift giving take care of any excessive guilt. I'm so luck y my family doesn't want to do Christmas this year!

Um, yeah, I'm not exactly calm...only a few days to Christmas and I just got started on my knitted gifts...sigh...I can't decide if I'm going to cry or scream...

I may seem calm, but it's simply that I don't care.

I actually cried over this. Not the holiday/family/emotional kind of cry, but the "oh my god how am I going to finish all this knitting?" cry. Twice.
