I finished the back of "Sundae" from Rowan "Classic Holiday". It is really a fun knit. I am knitting it out of "Cool Wool" from Lana Grossa. So I guess I do have some of the knitting mojo back.
Lily was really getting worried there for me. I could tell, she moved her paw.

It looks really pretty. Do you think is will fit Lily?
I don't think it will fit anything living. The mannequin will get it to wear. Too bad the mailman that had the hots for her isn't around anymore.
How lovely! =)
Ok, wisest one - if I'm going to bite the bullet and actually knit a garment for myself in the sweater/vest department what pattern and yarn should I start with? Keep in mind that this humble request is coming from the self-proclaimed queen of small-projects-which-are-easily-finished-
and-hence-not-as-boring-as-big-things-
like-sweaters.
=)
I would do a top down sweater. There is no sewing and it is one piece. You can do a fancy or plain stitch. It goes fast.
it's lovely! Can't wait to see the finished product! Welcome back, mojo!
